The home buying process has changed over the past several years from a mortgage prospective. It is still easy to finance a new home or refinance an exciting home, but the paper work involved is a little more complex. For this reason, I believe the home buying process starts with a consultation. This meeting is conducted over the phone or in person depending on your schedule. In this appointment, we will discuss all the details about the loan process, collect all the required documentation and map out a game plan to ensure a smooth and stress-free mortgage experience. This is also the time that I can answer any questions or concern you may have about purchasing a home.
Once I have your financial documents the mortgage process start with me analyzing the three most important factors in the mortgage approval process. I refer to them as the 3 pillars of the qualification. They are credit, income, and debt. These 3 items help me determine your approvability and loan program options. My company has a wide range of mortgage programs and it is my job to find the loan that fits your unique situation. I tend to focus more on my clients comfort level when it comes to a monthly payment. I like this method more than looking at the preferred purchase price of a home. I believe by focusing on the monthly payment we can narrow down the purchase price easier. Once we establish your monthly payment goal we will start the loan approval.
