How quickly the interest rate market can shift 1

This chart shows the sale of MBS bonds. This is where home loan rates are derived. The lower the price of a bond the higher the rates. The lowest rates we have seen in 2 years were on January 30th. Since that date we have started seeing rates increase. It is important to understand how quickly rates can change from low rates to high rates. This chart is a great illustration of how this can happen. I believe with the turmoil going on in Greece we will see a bounce back in rates soon. Will we see the lows of 3 weeks ago? Not sure, but we must all be ready.
