Rates have ended the week higher than they were last week. It has been a very volatile week in the bond market. I expected we will see even more volatility throughout the holiday season. As volume slows and the fiscal cliff looms the market will be like a seesaw. Do not be a Scrooge and get greedy over rates. It could come back to bite you. I am advising clients to lock for short-term closings.
