As a mortgage lender, I have the great opportunity to converse with clients from a diverse group of people. One thing I have found is that it is harder and harder to teach our kids how to save money. Who keeps coins in their pockets any more? No one! I have developed a series of simple ideas to help teach my kids about money and the importance of saving. Tip #1 Get a Piggy Bank where the coins collected.
Tip #2 Make the Piggy bank see through.
Tip #3 Make the Piggy Bank small and offer to match the saved coins once
the piggy bank is full.
